Dr. Dina Mambwe

Dr. Dina Mambwe has a robust academic and professional background in agriculture and natural resource management, holding a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, a master’s in Agronomy, and a Ph.D. in Public and Development Management from Stellenbosch University. Her research is focused on land use, protected areas and community interactions with changing land uses. With over 18 years of experience, Dina began as an Agricultural Research Officer, working with both small-scale and commercial farmers.

She has since engaged in consultancies and research on land suitability, environmental impact assessments, and climate suitability for crop production. Dina’s unique skill set blends increasing food production with improving rural livelihoods and ensuring environmental sustainability. Her leadership, strong analytical skills, and dedication to sustainable practices support the resilience and well-being of rural communities.
